PLANO-CONVEX
  • To minimize spherical aberrations.
  • For Collimating and Focussing Light Rays.
BI-CONVEX
  • For positive image conjugate ratios between 0.2 to 5.
  • Used in Magnifiers and Imaging systems.

PLANO-CONCAVE
  • To expand a collimated light beam or increase the focal lengths in an optical system.
  • Used in Telescopes, Collimators and Condensers.
BI-CONCAVE
  • To expand a collimated light beam or increase the focal lengths in an optical system.
  • Used in Projection Systems, Laser Beam Expanders, Viewers and Optical Character Readers.

ACHROMATIC LENSES
  • To eliminate chromatic aberrations and reduce spherical.
  • Better Optical Performance than singlet lenses.
  • Used in Collimators, Focusing Lenses and Imaging.
